Title Explination

I think this book is called The Magician because one of the main figures in this book is Dr. John Dee, whose nickname is “The Magician”.  I also think it is named that way because it matches nice with the name of the first book of The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel, which was called The Alchemyst. All of the books have similar names like The Sorceress and The Necromancer.

Place

This story is mostly set in Paris. It starts at the house of one of the main characters (Comte de Saint-Germain), and other important locations are the Seine and the Catacombs of Paris.
Another location mentioned in the book is the Alcatraz Island, where Perenelle Flamel is imprisoned.

Time

This story is set from the 2nd of June to the 4th of June in 2007, so the time covered in the book is about 2 days. I know this because at the beginning of every new day in the book there is a blank page with only the date and the day of the week. The day this story starts is Saturday,2nd June, and the last time 2nd June was on a Saturday was in 2007. I guess it has to be this Saturday because this matches with my report of The Alchemyst, in which I thought it had to be after 2005 because of the techniques used (Bluetooth in cell phones for example).
